His special interests and expertise include prevention, diagnosis, and managing various diabetes complications like Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetic Foot Disease, Retinopathy (Eye Damage), Neuropathy (Nerve Damage), Bone metabolism (osteoporosis), Thyroid disorders, etc.

In his illustrious career of more than 10 years years, He has contributed immensely to the medical field. He has been an integral part of various CMEs at national & state levels. His areas of interest also include research & clinical trials and academics & diabetes education.

He is a member of TAMILNADU MEDICAL ASSOCIATION & PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATION OF INDIA.
